I am sort of a Jack-of-all-Trades. I've been, and am, a successful freelance writer and landscape and garden designer. I've spent lots of time working in offices, and done other interesting and mundane things. I am also a Certified Holistic Life Coach, but have found that I coach better in a non-professional way, if that makes sense.

Currently, I am working on two books - one is on introversion (there's a surprise). The thing I enjoy most about writing is that I love taking a small spark of something and building it into a fire. The whole cycle of idea/inspiration to words to something readable, entertaining and memorable and then back to the start is reflective of all the cycles of life, and that appeals to me.

I am a true introvert, enjoying my own company and never bored when alone. I am a very private person and guard my secrets jealously. I am only bothered by my own introversion when I feel unduly criticized by people who have no understanding of it, and no compulsion to learn.

A proud mother and grandmother, I love my family above all else. My husband and I share a home along our two cats Charlie and Parker, and several fish.
